Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard announces the arrival of his first child with wife Helene Spilling

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard and his wife, Helene Spilling, have welcomed their first child. The couple shared the joyful news on social media, posting a photo of themselves holding their newborn son's hand. "We love you so much, our little baby boy," they wrote in the heartfelt announcement on Instagram.

Odegaard and Spilling were first seen publicly as a couple at the London Football Awards in March 2023. Although now married, the Arsenal star has kept their union low-key on social media. According to Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang, Odegaard updated his marital status in the national register, and Spilling has changed her name to Helene Spilling Odegaard.

Spilling gained national recognition in Norway after winning the 2021 edition of the dance competition Skal vi danse, similar to the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing.
