Peter Obi meets with Afe Babalola regarding Farotimi’s defamation case.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate, paid a visit to renowned legal icon and founder of Afe Babalola University, Afe Babalola, at his office in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, on Monday, December 8.

The visit was linked to the ongoing defamation case involving human rights lawyer and activist Dele Farotimi. Farotimi was arraigned last week at a Magistrate Court in Ado-Ekiti following a petition filed by Afe Babalola over alleged defamatory statements in his book, Nigeria and Its Criminal Judicial System.
