At the press briefing, digital solutions provider Globacom announced an entertainment tour to promote My-G, its youth-centric product, across major Nigerian cities. The tour is aimed at showcasing the benefits of My-G, which focuses on fulfilling the entertainment and connectivity needs of young Nigerians. Chuka Obi, Globacom’s Director of Creativity, explained that My-G offers unique data bundles, giving customers affordable access to popular entertainment platforms, social media channels, and streaming services.

The entertainment tour, which targets Nigerian youth, features undiluted entertainment and is accessible through My-G data bundles. Youth leaders at the event commended Globacom’s efforts to engage with young people and offer them affordable data solutions to support their interests and aspirations. Morakinyo Olaolu, Yabatech’s SUG President, praised the initiative for its positive impact on youth development, expressing gratitude for Glo’s commitment to supporting young Nigerians. Similarly, Adebobola Ayomide, LASU SUG President, noted that My-G would benefit students in both academic and social contexts and encouraged Globacom to introduce more packages tailored to student needs. Adekanye Ibukunoluwa from UNILAG appreciated Glo for prioritizing youth connectivity, especially with affordable data options like My-G, and expressed a desire for Glo to bring more activities to campus.

Globacom also reintroduced its competitive Berekete plan, now enhanced as Berekete 10X, offering ten times the recharge value, double data, and voice call benefits. Additionally, Glo highlighted the features of its Glo Café app, a one-stop platform for digital services and product management, now available on the Google App Store. The app includes a bonus 100 GB data offer, exclusive recharge incentives, and a range of self-care options for ease and convenience.
