Peter Okoye replies Paul over song theft allegation

Singer Peter Okoye has addressed accusations from his twin brother and former P-Square bandmate, Paul Okoye, who claims that Peter stole one of his songs. The issue began when Peter announced the release of a new song, which Paul insists he originally wrote. According to Paul, they had an agreement to each contribute six songs that they had written and sung. However, he claims that, while he brought his songs as agreed, Peter went ahead and released one of Paul’s songs on his own with the support of his management.

Paul expressed his frustration in an Instagram post, calling out both Peter and his management for allowing Peter to take the song. He even called Peter an “Oloriburuku” in his anger.

In response, Peter maintained that he co-wrote the song with the producer, denying that it belonged solely to Paul. He added that Paul and their older brother Jude are attempting to remove the song from music platforms, but he vows to fight back to keep it available.
