Port Harcourt Refinery products is exclusively for NNPCL retail outlets

Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has disclosed that products from the Port Harcourt Refinery Company (PHRC) are currently reserved exclusively for NNPCL retail outlets. Speaking on Wednesday, November 27, Soneye clarified that the refinery has not yet started bulk sales and that its purchase portal remains inactive.

He explained that NNPCL is currently marketing products sourced from the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, which include fees from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA). “We have not started bulk sales or activated the purchase portal as we are still finalizing necessary processes,” Soneye said.

He added, “The products we are selling now are from the Dangote Refinery, inclusive of NMDPRA fees. Products from Port Harcourt are specifically for our retail outlets, and we regularly review and adjust prices as needed.”
