City officials to take back Diddy's 'Key To Miami Beach' after arrest for alleged s3x trafficking

Miami Beach officials are reportedly preparing to revoke Diddy's key to the city following his recent arrest in New York on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.

According to TMZ, insiders with direct knowledge say the decision is in its final stages, though the exact timing is uncertain. The move could be delayed due to Hurricane Milton, which is approaching Florida.

Diddy was awarded the key to Miami Beach by former Mayor Philip Levine in 2015 during the Revolt Music Conference at the Fontainebleau. He joins other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled in receiving the honorary key.

This wouldn't be the first time Diddy has had an honorary key taken back. Earlier this year, after CNN released footage from 2016 showing Diddy hitting Cassie, New York City Mayor Eric Adams condemned his actions. Adams, who had given Diddy a key in 2023, expressed solidarity with with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence,” Adams wrote in a statement at the time.
