Manchester United are reportedly considering replacing Erik ten Hag with former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

Ten Hag's future at the club is uncertain as he faces potential dismissal after overseeing United's worst-ever start to a Premier League season.

The club's senior officials, including part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, are set to meet on Tuesday, with Ten Hag's position expected to be a key point of discussion.

According to the Manchester Evening News, United are targeting Tuchel, 51, just seven games into the current Premier League campaign.

While other potential candidates are respected by the club's hierarchy, the MEN reports that Tuchel’s availability makes him the top contender should Ten Hag be dismissed.

Ten Hag’s role has come under pressure as United currently sit in 14th place in the league after seven games.

So far, they have managed only two league wins, along with two draws and three losses, earning just eight points – marking their worst start since the 1989-90 season, when they finished 13th under Sir Alex Ferguson.
